In Solution Explorer under
appsettings.json and update connection string to point to the Amazon RDS SQL Server database:
Server=<SERVER_URL>,1433;Integrated Security=false;User ID=adminuser;Password=Admin12345?;Initial Catalog=NorthwindTraders;
<SERVER_URL> use the Amazon RDS SQL Server endpoint URL that was returned when deployment was completed in the previous lab.
SQL Server connection string has the following format:
Server=<Your SQL Endpoint URL>,1433;Integrated Security=false;User ID=<XXX>;Password=<XXX>;Initial Catalog=<Database name>;
Please ensure that you have
WebUI as startup project.
Now you can run the project and navigate to the
Products page. If you see list of products, it means that you have successfully connected to the Amazon RDS SQL Server database you configured in previous lab.
Please note, that initial start could take couple of minutes as database migrations will be applied to create the database and sample data will be populated.
